Would you like to have access to new course lessons before other members? If so, are you also willing to overlook the lack of “polish” a finished course lesson normally has when it's completely done?

What is the SYEL Beta Team

Think of this like “beta testers” who have access to computer software before it's available to the general public. Instead, in this case, I put out some of the lessons to members who maybe want to see the courses in an earlier “stage” of my editing procedure.

In the case of a video course lesson, this may mean my “voiceover” may not be as “tight” and “clean” (“ums,” pauses, and less succinct ways of saying things might still be present). Sound effects and graphics may not be added yet. Some topics in the video may not be added yet. It just might feel more “raw” and “rough” — more like what you are accustomed to seeing on YouTube and other social media channels. ???? 

Or, in the case of a text-only course lesson, then maybe I am still working on adding more text material to the lesson, or I am working on editing the text to make it clearer, shorter, or possibly more detailed, etc.

In both cases, the decision was made to release them early in “beta” form because, despite their ongoing development, there is already enough valuable content for those who are willing to overlook any current limitations or imperfections.

And in exchange, I can possibly get some early feedback from you all on what I need to add or explain better before I finish editing the lesson and make it available for all members — those who aren't “beta testers.”

How to Become a Part of the Beta Team

If you want to be part of this “Beta Team,” go to your membership account settings page, scroll down to the “Join the Beta Team” section. Click the gray “Beta Tester” button (next to the “Standard” mode button), and the page will reload to confirm your new status.
