— Profile: Overview
What is my member profile?
Your Member Profile represents all of the information that is used to represent you as your “online persona” to other people on this website.
Unlike the very private information stored on your Member Account page, all of the information stored in your Member Profile can be viewed by other members. And a couple of items from your Member Profile are shared with the general public if you comment under a Blog Post article.
Just to give you an idea, here are just a few of the items that make up each person's Member Profile:
Where Your Profile Information Is Used
The three most common places you will see your Profile information being used are:
- Next to your Community Forum Posts
- Next to your Blog Post Comments
- On your personalized Member Profile Page
Community Forum Posts
When you “Create a Topic” or “Reply” to someone else's Post in one of the Community forums, your post will contain some of your Member Profile information on the left-hand side. This block of information will identify you as the writer of this post and display the current, up-to-date status of several of your profile items.

Every Member is given a personalized Member Profile Page when they join as a Member.
Even if you don't spend the time to personalize any of the information fields, your member My Profile page is still visible to other Members. Any field areas you don't complete will just appear empty or non-existent on your Profile Page.
You can create or make changes to your Member Profile by going to your Profile Details page.
Your Profile Settings page can be found in the blue-colored Member Menu Bar at the top of the website and under the “[YOUR NAME]” menu item.
